According to the Daily Record, Lakshmi Mittal is building a £15 million holiday home next to the Gleneagles luxury hotel-cum-golf course in Perthshire, Scotland.

The Mittal home has wallpaper and soft furnishings by Ralph Lauren and wooden and tiled flooring was supplied by a German firm at £200 a metre.

It includes a top-of-the-range sound system and two kitchens, one for home cooking and an industrial unit to give capacity for functions.

The London-based entrepreneur, worth £20billion and the world’s fifth richest man, has already paid for the world’s most expensive home.

In 2008, he bought a £117million home for his son Aditya in Kensington, London.
