When we bought our house 20 years ago, there was quite an aray of mid 70's lighting throughout. We quickly changed all of it. In our kitchen we replaced the ceiling fixture with a large hunter fan - sooo 80's.
So this weekend we unearthed the original fixture, painted it cherry red, and replaced that horrible fan. Yippie!
