Fabric is a fabulous way to update your home/office decor. You can use it to re-upholster furniture (as seen in the photographs above) or to make simple throw pillows. If you want to add a touch of mid-century design to your place, think about purchasing some mid-century style textiles and getting creative with them. The fabric need not be from a fabric store per se. I've gotten napkins, kitchen towels (especially from Anthropologie) and place mats and turned them into aprons and pillows!!
