Fab set of vintage twin beds. Wouldn't these be great in a guest room? How cozy would they look with all white linens and down pillows? Wow... I think I'm getting sleepy suddenly. : )
Travel in style with these vintage suitcases. They just don't make them like they used to. However, these beauties need not be limited to just travel. They are perfect for storing linens, winter sweaters, knick knacks or anything else that tickles your fancy. In fact, I've seen these being turned into doggy or kitty beds! Just thrown in some comfy pillows and voila! Your Fido or Fluffy will be thrilled!
I absolutely love painted chairs. The wonderful thing about them is that they can be placed anywhere. It doesn't have to be just for a dining table. Think outside the box and place one of these as your desk chair or bedroom chair. I also love the Swedish/Scandinavian feel of this chair. I want to re-do my home in a Scandinavian, all white/vintage theme, but with two dogs and a cat... I'm not so sure.
This is depression glass. Obviously, glass items made during the Great Depression in the 1930s. It comes in all different designs and colors. Making a dinner table with these dishes and bowls is stunning. It's sure to impress any guest.
I love table cloths. I especially love colorful table cloths. This one is a Florida one in excellent vintage condition. It looks brand new! It's currently being sold at the Blue Moon Trading Co. in South Tampa. It runs about $60, but it's sooooo worth it!
You've got to love bamboo! What better than RED bamboo to get a WOW from anyone! This magazine holder is gorgeous and ready to be shown off!

Talk about a large mirror! This mirror is HUGE! It runs about $500 at The Blue Moon (www.thebluemoontradingcompany.com). It is made by using the frame of an old window, I believe. I absolutely love artists who utilize vintage items and re-purpose them. It's so eco friendly and clever!

So... this was my Sunday at work. I was so inspired by all of the beautiful depression glass. What a gorgeous way to make a table for a dinner party. The other pictures are of vintage items I found to be interesting and eye catching. Part of being a vintage items collector is having an eye for unique vintage items that may not initially stand out while perusing the shops. Next time you head out to your local antique store or flea market, consciously attempt to pick out items that do not easily stand out. You'll be surprised at how much more there is in that shop than you originally thought!
Happy Decorating!
