Whoever said home decor should only be focused around big furniture items? The big items should oftentimes be looked at or thought of as the blank canvas for the rest of your home decor. This is true for both vintage design and modern design. What adds that special touch to your vintage decor is the small items that you choose to display around your personal space. Peruse antique shops, garage sales and even your own (or someone else's!) garage and go treasure hunting! All of the above items are examples of decorative pieces that were originally intended for one thing and ended up being something completely different many, many,many years later! Find different uses for things or simply display them as a fantastic and unique vintage form of art. It will bring back that nostalgic feeling we all long for sometimes.
