It's almost that time of year again! Spring cleaning is just around the corner! I've got my cleaning gloves, brushes, vacuum and all other cleaning stuff ready to go! Being that I come from a family where cleaning was an absolute MUST, I tend to get excited about these things. Crazy and pathetic, I know. But, I tend to think of it as an opportunity to therapeutically clean out the brain of clutter, as well as your home. Simple is beautiful. That is my mantra when it comes to decorating. Especially when decorating with vintage finds and vintage charm. I think of vintage items as works of art to be admired and talked about. Why saturate the place with clutter? It defeats the purpose of being a vintage piece collector and lover, doesn't it? Then it just gets lost and your guests won't be able to oooo and ahhhh over it, which is what we want when we decorate our spaces. So! Take those latex gloves out and make your home and vintage pieces look beautiful and simple. Less is better! What are your thoughts on this yearly tradition? Do you do it? Hate it? Love it?
