Details. Little things we often overlook in every aspect of our busy lives. I am a general, overall picture kind of gal and I struggle through the details of things. However, details are truly the glue that hold it all together to give us the ability to see it in general. Without the details in place, there would be no clear view of the overall. When talking about decorating your home with vintage charm, the details are just as important as the big vintage pieces. In fact, they may actually be ever so slightly even more important. That's because they are the "charm" in the term vintage charm. Huge pieces can't be "charming." Charming is often used to describe something that gives us the fuzzies, warms our hearts, makes us smile. Usually these things are sentimental, small, unique, etc... So, take a quick look around your space. Do you need some charm? Look to unique and smaller pieces to fill your space with sprinkles of vintage charm. Examples are vintage family photos in beautiful frames, vintage music boxes, unique vintage pottery, vintage kitchen utensils, etc... Get creative! Get some charm!
