When decorating a space with vintage finds, it is always a fresh and terrific idea to add something "fun" to the mix. Pillows are a great and easy way to accomplish this. If everything is too formal, it can work against what you are trying to achieve with vintage finds (a unique look). It may even become (gasp!) BORING! Clearly, that is not what you want. Therefore, take a quick look around your living and/or office space. Is it all one color? Is it all uniformed? If so, add a couple of fun, unique pieces to the space and you will see a noticeable difference. Another thing to think about when doing this, is COLOR! You want that unique piece to POP! Color is the best way to make that happen. Thus, combine both, the fun pillow and color, and you will have a fabulous result. I took my inspiration from magazines and Anthropologie and decided to look for pillows that had that same "fun" look I was searching for, but at a reasonable price. Now, my new wrought iron daybed (functioning as a couch) will have amazing throw pillows to contrast its aged, vintage look.
